Guidelines for Payment of Court Fees over the Internet

GUIDELINES:
1. As of October 12, 2004, the Western District of Virginia Divisional Offices will begin a credit card acceptance program. We will accept payment for court fees and services by VISA, MasterCard, Novus/Discover, Diners Club and American Express bank cards. (Bank cards will not be accepted from debtors).
2. Requests for services and charges to the bank cards must be made in person by the cardholder or via one of the authorization forms listed below.
3. In the event that a charge against a bank card account is denied, you will be notified immediately to make payment in cash, money order or certified check. This payment will be due immediately. Any abuse of this privilege will result in your removal from the credit program.
4. All forms must contain original signatures.
5. Return completed forms to the Financial Administrator at the Roanoke address listed at the bottom of these instructions.
