Registration – Twelfth Annual Western District of Virginia Bankruptcy Conference

We are pleased to announce registration to attend the Twelfth Annual Western District of Virginia Bankruptcy Conference is now open. Once again there will be no charge, and staff members are welcome to attend. The conference will be held in-person on May 29, 2026, at Roanoke College in the Wortman Ballroom in the Colket Center (221 College Lane, Salem, Virginia) beginning at 8:45 a.m. and running to 4:40 p.m. A map showing the location of the Colket Center and 3 available nearby parking lots will be posted on the Court’s website prior to the conference date; note that there is no parking at the center itself. A copy of the conference program can be accessed here (link).  The conference materials/outlines will be posted on the website as we get closer to the date. We have applied to the Virginia State Bar for 6 hours of CLE credit, including 1 hour of ethics credit.  The conference will also include a one-hour breakout session for staff on Bridging the Gap:  Navigating Two Chapter 13 Trustee Offices.

A buffet lunch costing $12.50 per person will be offered in the cafeteria located in the Colket Center. When registering for the conference, please let us know how many in your party will be attending the buffet lunch. Individuals needing special assistance (ADA, allergies, etc.) should notify cgriessmayer@ch13wdva.com at least ten (10) working days prior to the event.
