Upcoming 'Brown Bag' Discussions

Roanoke
Judge Black and Judge Connelly will be holding a meet and greet/”brown bag” discussion on May 1, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. in the Roanoke Bankruptcy Court courtroom. This is an opportunity for discussion and to meet Jim Reynolds, Clerk of Court. Bankruptcy attorneys and their employees are welcome to attend. The judges and Mr. Reynolds hope you will join them afterwards at the Deschutes Brewery Tasting Room.

Lynchburg and Charlottesville

Judge Connelly will be holding "brown bag" lunches on March 22, 2018, in Charlottesville, and on March 29, 2018, in Lynchburg. Both lunches will take place from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.

The lunches are an opportunity for discussion. Bankruptcy attorneys and their employees are welcome to attend.

Attorneys from out of town who have few matters on the docket may contact Judge Connelly's law clerk (via e-mail at Caleb_Chaplain@vawb.uscourts.gov) to reschedule the hearing to either late morning or early afternoon to accommodate attending the brown bag lunch, provided the other parties involved consent.
